FISHING REPORTS: 2010
2/23 -well its getting to be that time ,,,,, moving the boat down to BEST marine here in a couple weeks . Getting things ready to go for a great season !!!! Here in the mean time ive got word the yellow perch are starting to run , so if you see me on the lake in the fintastic jon boat give me a shout .
3/22 - The boat is now at its new home for 2010, fresh,clean,and ready to fish. Give us a call to get you hooked up!
4/2 - Hit the chick today for some freshwater fun. We wipped up on some herring!
5/1/10 - Well the croakers are now in the river and a few blues , water temp is looking good and so is the fishing , give us a call and we will catch you some fun !
5/15/10- We fished the Tappahanock croaker tourn this year , didnt finish to well , The fish we weighed was 1.77 and the winner was a wopping 3.77 , but we had a great time and caught lots of fish.
5/22/10 - Had a trip down to va beach and fished the cbbt and the backwaters of lynnhaven inlet , fishing was slow to start at the cbbt but the wind a waves picked up so we headed in the inlet and did some flounder fishing. We had maybe 8 flounder with one keeper, it was a sweet day that turned out with some fish to take home.
6/30/10---- Well fishing has been steady, and the flounder have shown up well in the rapp. Good numbers of fish a several keepers are in the mix. Water temps are in the mid 80's and blues are around with a mix of spot and croakers.
7/17-7/24 ---- This past week we dragged the boat to Oregon Inlet to find us right in the middle of a SW wind . Needless to say the water was freezing (62) and the fishing was slim pickins. We managed one 40" red drum on 7/19 , maybe 20 or so blues on 7/20 , and some bottom fish the rest of the week. It was still a good time and a learning experience for next spring in the OBX .
