About the boat :
The Amanda Gale is a 2008 Tidewater. She is 20’ in length and a center console. Amanda Gale comes equipped with a 140hp 4 stroke Suzuki outboard , t-top, live wells, and fish boxes. She has a capacity of 7 people but generally we only fish with 4 to provide comfortable space for everyone. The boat is equipped with all modern electronics that include gps, color fish finder, ship to shore radio, cell phone, and laptop with wireless Internet if required. With all the electronics and a cruise speed of 30 knots you are sure to get on the fish fast. All coast guard approved safety equipment is also provided.
About The Captain :
My name is Jason Lingor and I am a Virginia native born and raised in Richmond. Over my 32 years I started fishing as a young boy with my father on fishing piers in the Outer banks. From there I developed the love for fishing in ponds and rivers then tidal rivers and then the bay and up and down the east coast . With my experience I have fished in Virginia , Florida , South Carolina , Bahamas , and worked as a mate on charter boats out of Oregon-inlet NC. I started fishing on friends boats , parent boats , and then my own boat ( beginning with a 12’ john boat ) from there I got the boat I have now . Over the years of fishing I began to realize that I got a lot more excitement out of making other peoples fishing experiences happy then fishing for myself and has taken me to where I am today. I believe in patience and persistence in taking children fishing and making it a exciting adventure rather than a “boring” day with the parents. Whether you are retired or just born I look forward to spending part of your day with you and making great memories we can all look back on.
